The 10kV cold shrinkable power cable accessories of Shenzhen Changyuan Electric Technology, a major subsidiary of CYG (ChangYuan Group), were deployed in the facilities of the construction works of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

CYG was selected by Beijing 2008 Olympic Games among more than 20 suppliers in China and from overseas. The project involved converting overhead lines to underground lines along 59 roads and 5 bridges in the Olympic Park and the central part of the Olympic venues. CYG is the only supplier of power cable accessories. The project has been very smooth and more than 700 sets of cold shrinkable power cable accessories have been installed.

This is another key national infrastructure construction work CYG participates after the success of the whole section of Qinghai – Tibet Railway between Lhasa and Golmud. We shall continue to do our best endeavors to ensure the power supply is safe and reliable during the Olympic Games in Beijing. We will show our support with our success again in this project.
